As the world continues to melt down and we are consumed by the recession, or as we like to call it the procession, we keep it positive you know. More and more of me old mates from down the builders merchants are talking about Canada immigration and moving abroad. I personally can see the appeal, however, actually going through with a move to Canada of all places I seriously do not know of whether I could do it.

For a start it is a good way across the world, we’re talking about more than a few here, try 1000’s mate, that’s a hundred 10’s to my learned friends out there. It’s quite a way from your friends and family. No more nipping down the pub, a whole new world.

And maybe this is the appeal, getting away from everything and everyone, or maybe there’s not much to get away from, my mate Bill has no wife or kids to consider so he’s looking to do it, and I probably would given the same choice however I would be tempted to consider Australia over Canada as the appeal to me would definitely be the sun and sea.

That’s one thing we miss here in the UK, and that’s nice weather. We might experience a little bit for a couple months a year but not much more. It also seems that there are big differences in Canada when compared to other places also. I will look into the Australia immigration route and let you guys know.
